Ser hija de la mejor modista del mundo me permitió aprender a coser siendo una niña. Esta habilidad hizo posible que, pese a carecer de grandes recursos económicos, desde muy joven disfrutara vistiendo mis propios diseños.

A mis estudios de Arquitectura les debo no sólo los conocimientos de Estética, Proporción o Historia del Arte sino, sobre todo, el haber aprendido a disfrutar de la belleza en cualquier ámbito. La alegría de vivir que proporciona.

Por eso, a lo que yo aspiro no es a crear Catedrales ni Alta Costura; sino a que la vida real, la rutina, esté inundada de cosas bonitas que ayuden a ser feliz.

Being the daughter of the best dressmaker in the world allowed me to start sewing when I was only a child. This ability made it possible for me to enjoy wearing my own designs from a really young age, despite our lack of economic resources.

Through my Architectural Studies I could enrich not only my knowledge in Aesthetics, Proportion or Art History but also, and above all this, I learnt to enjoy beauty in every ambit. The joy of living it entails.

This is why I don't aspire to build Cathedrals or design for Haute Couture, but rather to fill our day-to-day life, our routine, with nice things that can make us a little happier.
